$8 shows rule!!

We have a bunch of $8 touring shows coming  to the Old Bowling Alley at Sons of Hermann Hall, Queen City Hall, City Tavern and La Grange…. more to be announced soon.

This is super far away, but who cares it will be memorable. An early evening winter-time show with New Orleans’ THOUand Providence’s The BODY in the BOWLING ALLEY of Sons of Hermann Hall. This will be their final night on tour together. THOU came through at Good Records earlier this year and The BODY played Bro Fest 2011 and at Bryan St. Tavern in September with Braveyoung and Cough.

The BLACK BELLES are a Female foursome from Nashville who were also Stephen Colbert’s backing band on “Charlene” and their debut is on Jack White’s THIRD MAN RECORDS. Consequence of Sound describes it best “The band – comprised of bassist Ruby Rogers, drummer Shelby Lynne, synth player Lil’ Boo, and guitarist/vocalist/organ player Olivia Jean – create a dark blend of ’60s garage rock and soul with a modern twist. And that’s without mentioning their Hocus Pocus clothing style.”
