The LOCUST – Molecular Genetics From The Gold Standard Labs 12″ (anti/epitaph) – Noise/grind compilation of The Locusts’ greatest misses, bonus tracks and rarities from splits, singles and EPs. Over 40 painfully quick blasts defining The Locust unique sound. Not for everyone but for this is a must for FANS. Lyrics on inner sleeve. Art & layout by Sonny Kay.
PEOPLE LIKE US & ERGO PHIZMIZ – The Keystone Cut Ups (illegal art) – Samples and “cut ups” as normally profiled on illegal art releases. Scenery/background music that was used in a film in 2010. In simplest terms it is beautiful.
SHONEN KNIFE – Osaka Ramones (good charamel) – A full CD of Ramones covers. Hey ho!
TEEN – In Limbo (carpark) – Touring with Hospitality this Fall, making at stop at Bryan St. Tavern on October 21st.
THOSE DARLINS – Mystic Minds 7″ (oh wow dang) – 1st release without Kelly Anderson? Playing Bryan St’s anniversary party on October 6th with Turbo Fruits, Royal Bangs, White Mystery, Royal Bangs and more. Single is backed with a cover of Rockpile’s (late 70’s Nick Lowe band) “Pet You and Hold You”.
