Radius Clauses are starting to bite back. I have been reading about this for a few days now, so I decided to post an updated Blog post via The Daily Swarm.
Anti-trust lawsuit inacted towards Austin based company, C3, for Lollapalooza’s radius clause. RE: Radius Clause means you cannot play within a certain mileage and designated time frame of the show date. They have the same thing going for Austin City Limits festival, and no one in Texas is complaining. How about this: Deeper pockets in Chicago don’t want Texas in their front yard. No one in Chicago able to put up the money to front Lollapalooza? Isn’t there a radius clause for Pitchfork Music festival too, which is also in Chicago, why are they not being investigated too?
