Tempers, Oct. 26th, 2022 at Cheap Steaks – The New York City duo of Jasmine Golestaneh and Eddie Cooper aka Tempers specialize in a sleek strain of low-lit poetic synth-pop/post-punk, the latest statement of which feels like the peak fruition of their elusive alchemy. With their self-produced “New Meaning”, Tempers present an album about navigating the unknown, coping mechanisms and exploring the nature
of choice. Its ten songs reflect on the creation of meaning as an access to liberation in times of
transition and loss. Currently on Dais Records.

Tempers are a NYC-based duo comprised of Jasmine Golestaneh and Eddie Cooper. The duo’s dark, ice-cold electronica blends a sinister slow static disco with danceable beats, a hinting of pop sensibility imprisoned in an almost gothic, industrial soundscape. Their previous singles, ‘Eyes Wide Wider’ b/w ‘Hell Hotline’ produced by Damian Taylor (Bjork), ‘Strange Harvest’ and ‘Killing for Company’ (Swans cover) received coverage across the US and UK blogs including Pitchfork, The Fader, Noisey, V Magazine and Interview. Their debut album "Services" was released in October 2015. Their new EP "Fundamental Fantasy" will be released via The Vinyl Factory Feb 24 2017.
