A movie studio bought the rights to film the forthcoming demolitions of Texas Stadium and Reunion Arena. The footage is going to be used in a large movie production about war or an end-of-the-world scenario. Also, developers plan on saving the roof of Texas Stadium and will use that as the roof of the planned shopping center/mall on the existing site. Demolition is scheduled sometime this year.
