FUCCCCCCKKKKKK This one hits home. Ace McNeely, soundman of City Tavern died in Austin late yesterday/early today. I found out roughly at 5PM today with the details; but waited till the word spread before posting anything online. I worked with Ace for over 2 years on shows at City Tavern and he was always hospitable to bands and loved by many folks.
A memorial fundraiser will be announced soon to help his family with funeral services.
