COUGH – Ritual Abuse 2 x LP (relapse) – Six track debut double LP from Cough; a miserable sludge and doom metal band that dabbles in spacey-psychedelic jams. 556 vinyl pressed on “ashen gray marble”. Playing at the Nightmare on Nov. 23rd. Alan says they sound like Electric Wizard.
KILL The CLIENT – Set For Extinction LP (relapse) – Established underground death metal and grind-core from Dallas with their Relapse debut. 546 “Smokey Grey Haze” vinyl.
MAN OR ASTRO-MAN? – (?) – First proper release from Man or Astro-Man? in TEN! years. 7″ housed in static free sleeve w/ circuit board. Only 300 pressed. Songs are “Earth Station Radio” and “Updated Theme To Supercar”.
PURLING HISS – Hissteria (richie) – Psychedelic punk rock from Philadelphia. Currently touring with Kurt Vile & The Violators.

TOMBS – Fear is the Weapon cd (relapse) – Compilation of all of TOMBS previous vinyl releases; which are limited and about to be out of print. CD pressed in a run of 1,000 copies. “Fear Is the Weapon combines TOMBS’ self-tiled Ep, their half of the recent split album w/ PLANKS, and the previously unheard Winter Hour demos.”
