Coming to the historic Trees venue on August 20th will be multi-genre (experimental rock, ambient electronic, punk, and more) spanning three-piece, Tera Melos from California and Texas! The trio’s most recent music video for “Sunburn,” from their 2013 Sargent House album X’ed Out, features “a living breathing hotdog man journeys to a cosmic soda can and dances with a hologram of himself.”
Dallas’ own and perennial Parade of Flesh favorite, Power Trip, join the lineup to play their first ever hometown Sound Select show. The crossover metal band previously released their acclaimed debut full-length, Manifest Decimation, on Southern Lord, and will be begin recording their highly anticipated second full-length this November at Denton’s Echo Lab with Matthew Barnhart and Arthur Rizk. Also performing from the Sound Select roster will be Basecamp, a trio of producers, who create complex tracks that layer otherworldly vocals and beautiful melodies with prominent bass and percussion.
Local comedian, Clint Werth, will be hosting.
RSVP for $3 entry.
