Last Thanksgiving, San Diego garage rock quartet The Muslims abruptly changed their name to THE SOFT PACK. Here is an interview I conducted with Matty M of The Soft Pack, shortly after the news. They will have a new release on Kemado Records later this year. A couple covers have popped up recently, including, The Cure’s “Grinding Halt” and 7? singles with b-side of Spacemen 3 and Arthur Lee.
