The BODY – All The Waters Of The Earth Turned To Blood 2 xLP (aum war) – Three sided gatefold LP edition; limited to 500 copies.
The BODY – S/T (self) – Out-of-print three song debut.
CHEAP TIME/BAD SPORTS – Split 7″ (scion a/v) – Denton/Austin band gets some major props by getting selected for the Scion A/V Garage split 7″ series; joining alums Black Lips, The Spits, Oblivians and many other established and upcoming notable garage/punk acts.
CLASS ACTRESS – Journal of Ardency 10″ (terrible) – Five song 10″ debut from Brooklyn electronic pop trio. Terrible Records is run by guy in Grizzly Bear. Girl in band is fairly attractive too. She is way better as an electronic heiress than a singer-songwriter which was her previous stint.
CROCODILES – Sleep Forever 7″ (fat possum) – B-side features covers of “Groove is in the Heart” and “California Girls”.
SMALL BLACK – Small Black EP (jagjaguwar) – Remastered with 2 additional songs, “King of Animals” and ” Baby Bird Pt. 2″. Small Black, since October, has been highly touted in many blogs; mainly for their split 7″ with Washed Out; which features a remixed version of “Despicable Dogs” originally from this EP. MP3 of “Despicable Dogs” from Small Black EP and “Photojournalist” from their debut full length, New Chain, which comes out October 26th.
